A client-list-only tool — when it is enough and when it costs you
Several Greek apps do exactly one job: transmitting to the digital client list. They cost a few euros a month and for plenty of businesses they are the right answer. Below is when they are enough, and when the double entry costs more than the subscription.

When a standalone tool is the right answer
If you already have a commercial program that covers you and you are not about to change it, a €4–5/month add-on is the cheapest route to being compliant. One obligation on its own does not justify changing systems.
The same holds when the client list means a handful of vehicles a month. Across ten records, typing the plate twice adds up to a few minutes.
Where these apps stop
They describe themselves as compliance tools: they record the entry and the exit and help you link the document. Outside their scope are the repair job, the quote the customer approves, parts stock with cost, the till, the vehicle’s history and issuing the tax document.
They therefore sit beside your program rather than inside it, and that is where the real cost appears: you type the plate twice, the charge a third time, and you carry the receipt’s MARK across by hand for the 4th moment. In a wash doing fifty cars a day, that repetition occupies a person.
- A work history per vehicle is kept by none of them
- The document the 4th moment asks you to correlate is issued elsewhere
- Which part went in and what it cost stays outside
- Two subscriptions and two things that can break
The third option people forget: AADE’s own free app
AADE provides a free digital client list application on myAADE, under Applications › Businesses › Digital Client List. Every paid compliance tool is therefore competing with a free alternative that makes the same transmission.
What justifies a paid solution is the data entry it saves, not the transmission itself. And that entry is only saved when it is happening anyway, inside the program you work in all day.
How to decide in two minutes
Two questions are enough: how many vehicles you handle a month, and where you record the charge today. With few vehicles and a commercial program that covers you, the add-on is the cheaper answer. With many vehicles, or when the "program" is a paper pad and a spreadsheet, the client list is the prompt for something larger, and the free plan here covers both at no cost.
