Where MOTORFOLIO is strong — honestly
It is built for a workshop and it shows: vehicle records, service history, appointments, on-screen customer signature, SMS and email notifications, loyalty points, a branded mobile app. The digital client list is included even in the cheapest plan, with plate scanning from a phone.
And the pricing is clear: the €149 a year for the entry plan is a low cost of entry for a specialised product, with a 30-day trial and no commitment. For anyone who wants a clean workshop program, it is a serious option.
Where Workflow Repair differs
The first difference is where the flow ends. In MOTORFOLIO, myDATA e-invoicing is described as an optional paid add-on on every plan; here documents are part of the Standard plan and are issued from the same screen as the charge — and that is what closes the 4th client-list moment without manual matching.
The second is the breadth of the trade. MOTORFOLIO addresses repair shops, body shops and tyre shops. For a car wash, or a workshop that also runs one, there is a separate business type here with its own fast pass flow and the correct client-list type, where the service category is "per price list" rather than "with parts".
The third is the free plan, which is permanent rather than a 30-day trial: no monthly job limit for a vehicle trade, unlimited users and an active digital client list. You can meet the new obligation at no cost and upgrade when you need the till.
