A free e-invoicing provider, built into the software
Viva Fiscal is a licensed Greek e-invoicing provider (ΥΠΑΗΕΣ). The customer taps their card, the terminal signs the document and transmits it to AADE, and the MARK lands back on the repair. No per-document charge, no document packs to count.

The payment and the document, in one transaction
Normally the payment and the fiscal issuing are two separate events: you charge the card, then you send the document, then you hope the two agree to the cent. With Viva Fiscal they are the same event. The software sends one request to the Viva Cloud Terminal API carrying both the charge amount and the document data; the registered Viva Terminal or SoftPOS device signs the fiscal receipt and transmits it; the ΜΑΡΚ, the QR and the authentication string come back and are written onto that specific repair.
The amount charged is the document total itself — not two numbers typed twice, one number in one request. In practice: cash or card, the technician presses once. No second screen, no separate provider portal login, and no document left unsent.
- One request carries the charge and the document data together
- The Viva device signs — fiscalisation happens at the moment of payment
- Cash? The document is issued normally, with no card charged
- ΜΑΡΚ, QR and authentication string land on the ticket
The ΥΠΑΗΕΣ licence: what it means, and why to check it yourself
ΥΠΑΗΕΣ stands for «Υπηρεσιών Παρόχου Ηλεκτρονικής Έκδοσης Στοιχείων» — the suitability licence AADE grants to a provider’s software before it may be put to use. The governing decision today is A.1112/2025 (Government Gazette Β΄ 4206/1.8.2025), which replaced A.1035/2020. Without that licence, software is not allowed to issue your documents.
Note the word: AADE says «αδειοδοτημένος» — licensed — not «certified». And it publishes a public register of every licensed provider software, with the provider code, the licensing date and, most usefully, its penalty points. You can check for yourself, without trusting anybody’s marketing, who signs your documents.
| In AADE’s register | |
|---|---|
| Software trade name | Viva Fiscal |
| ΥΠΑΗΕΣ provider | VIVABANK ΑΝΩΝΥΜΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΙΚΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ |
| Provider code | 026 |
| Licensed since | 23/12/2024 |
| Penalty points | 0 |

These details are published by AADE, not by Viva: Viva itself publishes no licence number on any of its pages. Check the register yourself before believing us — that is how you should read every provider.
What you issue — the myDATA cycle in repair-shop language
A repair shop does not issue "a document". It issues a receipt to the walk-in with a cracked screen, an invoice to the company that sent ten laptops, a credit note when something comes back, and a delivery note when the device travels to a lab. They all belong to the same myDATA cycle and issue from the same screen, with VAT computed per line and the amounts filled in from the charge.
| Document | myDATA type | When you issue it |
|---|---|---|
| Retail sales receipt | 11.1 | You sold a part or an accessory to a consumer |
| Services receipt | 11.2 | The classic repair: labour billed to a consumer |
| Sales invoice | 1.1 | Wholesale or a sale to a business, with the tax number from your CRM |
| Services invoice | 2.1 | A repair for a business or for another shop |
| Retail credit note | 11.4 | A return or a correction against a consumer receipt |
| Credit invoice | 5.1 | A return or a correction against a business invoice |
| Delivery note | 9.3 | The device leaves for a lab, or goes back to the customer |
The type codes are AADE’s and are the same for every provider — what changes is whether you issue them from inside the repair flow or retype them into a second program. In Workflow Repair, myDATA document issuing opens up on the Standard plan (€39/month) and above.
ΜΑΡΚ, document id, QR: what comes back onto the ticket
A document is not legal because you printed it. It is legal once it has been transmitted and has received a ΜΑΡΚ — the unique registration number AADE issues. Under article 5 §5 of A.1138/2020, the transmission date is taken to be the date the ΜΑΡΚ was granted: until that number comes back, nothing has happened for tax purposes.
In Workflow Repair these are not fields you hunt for — they come back from the device and are kept on the ticket: the ΜΑΡΚ, the document identifier, the authentication string and the QR. The printable document carries the ΜΑΡΚ, the identifier and the verification QR. And if the signature is slow — the device signs asynchronously — the document stays pending and the system chases it until a ΜΑΡΚ arrives, instead of telling you "OK" for something that never left.
- ΜΑΡΚ — the unique registration number, the proof it was transmitted
- Αναγνωριστικό Παραστατικού — the document identifier (UID)
- Συμβολοσειρά Αυθεντικοποίησης — the authentication string
- A verification QR, printed on the document
EFT/POS interconnection with the cash system
Under decision A.1155/2023 (Gazette Β΄ 5992/13.10.2023, as amended by A.1074/2024, A.1102/2024, A.1029/2025 and A.1160/2025), a card terminal is not allowed to operate on its own. The «βασικός κανόνας διασύνδεσης» — the basic interconnection rule — says a card transaction may only be completed once the corresponding document has been issued and its data transmitted to myDATA. The terminal, the issuing system and AADE all have to talk to each other.
And it is not only for shops with a cash register: article 2 par. 1 expressly covers cash systems that operate with e-invoicing providers (ΥΠΑΗΕΣ). A repair shop issuing through a provider, with no fiscal cash register, is inside the scope.
In Workflow Repair the interconnection is not a separate project you pay for: it runs through the same Viva Cloud Terminal API that takes the charge. The charge and the document signature are one transaction on the same registered device — there are not two systems to reconcile, because there are not two systems. This describes the mechanism; it is not a certification of compliance with A.1155/2023.
Compliance of an ERP + provider + terminal combination is evidenced administratively, not by the vendor’s own assertion: by the Acquirer’s Declaration of Conformity, the software’s Declaration of Compatibility, and listing in AADE’s published «Συνδυασμοί ERP - POS» lists. For exactly what applies to your business, your accountant has the last word.
- A.1155/2023: a card transaction needs an issued and transmitted document
- It also covers cash systems working with a ΥΠΑΗΕΣ provider
- Non-interconnection fine: €10,000 single-entry, €20,000 double-entry books
- In our flow, the interconnection runs through the Viva Cloud Terminal API
Fiscalisation in 7 countries — and what we issue today
Viva Fiscal is not a Greece-only service: Viva.com states fiscal compliance in seven countries through one integration. Because every country has its own framework, the "Workflow Repair" column below says plainly what our software issues today — and what exists on Viva’s side.

|---|---|---|---|
| Greece | AADE / myDATA | Compliant | Live today — issuing and transmission from inside the repair flow |
| Germany | KassenSichV | Compliant | Supported by Viva; enablement in Workflow Repair on request |
| Italy | Agenzia delle Entrate | Compliant | Supported by Viva; enablement on request |
| Austria | RKSV | Compliant | Supported by Viva; enablement on request |
| Spain | Veri*Factu & TicketBAI | Compliant | Supported by Viva; enablement on request |

The "Workflow Repair" column is our own statement: the Greek myDATA mapping is active and running in production; for the other countries Viva’s infrastructure exists and support in the software is enabled on request. The ERP itself is built for the Greek market today (VAT, tax numbers, myDATA).
What you need to start
We will say it plainly, with no hedging: you need a Viva terminal. The fiscalisation is performed by a registered Viva Terminal or SoftPOS device — that device is what signs, so with no Viva device there is no signature. Card payments and fiscalisation both run through Viva.com; we do not support other acquirers in this flow.
With the following in place, setup is a few minutes: pick "Viva Fiscalisation" as your provider, enter the issuer tax number and document series, and the cash-register id generates itself per store — you never type it.
- A Viva.com account and a cloud-capable Viva Terminal or SoftPOS device
- The Viva Cloud Terminal integration enabled in Workflow Repair
- The device registered against the cash-register id the software generates
- Viva declared as your e-invoicing provider with AADE — Viva gives you the exact details
- A Standard plan (€39/month) or above, where myDATA issuing opens up
Why now: the 1 October 2026 deadline
Mandatory B2B e-invoicing in Greece arrives in two periods, under article 2 of decision A.1128/2025: for businesses with gross revenue above €1,000,000 (2023 tax year) it has applied since 02.03.2026; for all other businesses — which is nearly every repair shop — it becomes mandatory on 01.10.2026, with gradual fulfilment allowed until 31.12.2026. That gradual route, though, requires a timely «Δήλωση Έναρξης Ηλεκτρονικής Έκδοσης Στοιχείων» (article 6 of A.1112/2025) with a start date no later than 1.10.2026 — AADE, checked 20/08/2026.
And this is not a formality: AADE has ruled (E.2004/13.02.2026) that issuing an invoice outside the permitted electronic channels is treated as not having issued the invoice at all. So by October you need to have decided who issues your documents.
If a Viva terminal is already on your counter, that decision is cheaper than you think: the fiscalisation comes bundled with the payment you are already taking, with no per-document charge. For exactly where your business falls, the exemptions, and the early-adoption incentives (article 71TH of law 4172/2013), your accountant has the last word.
