Where they are strong — and what a repair shop misses

Epsilon Smart does exactly what it was built for, and does it well: myDATA documents at a very low price, from a company that knows the Greek tax landscape as well as anyone — and that your accountant almost certainly knows. PYLON flex goes further, into full commercial management with inventory, and the Commercial III edition also tracks serial numbers.

Neither, however, documents a repair workflow on these pages. In practice that means: no repair ticket, no record of the condition a device arrived in, no per-device history, no technician assignment, no quote for approval, no work warranty. The repair lives in a notebook, a spreadsheet and someone’s memory — and the software only hears about it at the end, when the document is issued.

For the same money: the repair system, not just the invoicing

We will not tell you Epsilon Smart is expensive — it is not. If all you need is invoicing, at €5 a month it is remarkably cheap, and no price comparison makes sense. The comparison changes when your business is repairs: then the real cost is not the invoicing tool, but everything it does not do — the ticket notebook, the "who has this customer’s phone", the parts stock in Excel, the double typing on every handover.

Workflow Repair’s Starter+ costs €19 a month — €15 billed annually, less than an Epsilon Smart Platinum (€22). And for that money you do not get invoicing: you get the repair system — tickets, device history, intake photos, a basic POS — while invoicing stays where it is today. When you reach Standard (€39), myDATA documents move inside the repair flow and the double typing ends.

Switching, practically

You do not have to change everything in a day. Start on the free plan next to whatever you use today, no card — and invoicing keeps happening where it happens, until you decide on Standard. When you do, send a customer export and we do the import; your accountant keeps getting what they need from reports and exports.

Answers to the usual questions

Is Epsilon Smart enough for a repair shop?
For invoicing, yes — and at a very low price. Its own materials, though, position it as invoicing/commercial software: it has no repair tickets, device history or intake photos. If your business is repairs, you also need a service system — next to it, or in one program that does both.
How much does PYLON cost per user?
PYLON flex subscriptions are listed from €210 to €445 per user per year (pylon.gr/syndromes/, checked 02/08/2026), with a 300 documents/month limit on Starter and serial numbers on the Commercial III edition. Pricing is per user — every extra seat adds cost.
What do I lose with an invoicing-only tool?
Everything that happens before the document: a repair ticket with intake condition and photos, per-device and per-serial history, technician assignment, a quote with online approval, parts stock tied to the repair, and a work warranty. The document is the last step of the flow — not the flow.
Do they work together, accounting-wise?
Yes. You can keep invoicing in the tool you have today and run repairs in Workflow Repair — starting on the free plan. From Standard and up, myDATA documents are issued from inside the repair flow, and your accountant gets reports and exports from the same system.
